Will Taking The Pill While Pregnant Harm the Baby?

Although it does not happen very often, it is possible that you may get pregnant while using a hormonal birth control method, like the Pill. 50% of all the pregnancies in the US are unintended, and about half of these unintended pregnancies actually occur while women are using contraception. Since a few weeks may have gone by before you realized that you might be pregnant, you may now be wondering whether or not your pill use has harmed the baby. Photo © 2008 Dawn Stacey
