Obstacles in Your Tubal Decision

I got married at a young age and we decided this was best since we thought that we would never divorce and we felt our family was complete. NOT! He cheated made another baby and we divorced. Now we are both re-married. He married the one he cheated with and I married someone special. We have been married for 5 years and I definately regret not being able to give my husband a child. Sometimes I become very emotional during the moment and we have to stop for him to console me. This is ever so frustrating, I have gone through depression counseling as well as spiritual and marriage counseling. We even started going through IVF therapy because my insurance stated they would cover it. Now they are stating I have to have a failed tubal reversal before IVF is covered, in which I don't have enough to reverse. We are now trying to appeal the insurace company's decision.

What I'd Do Differently

  • I wish I would not have made such a strong decision without consideration of deeper thoughts at the age of 22.
